Earlier he used to conduct coaching, but after the center was closed during the Corona period, he started a restaurant named ‘Budh Dadi’ along with his wife Deepika Doval. He prepares 47 types of Pahari dishes like Dhindka, Askali, Lemda etc. Kapil told that he has presented local dishes of areas like Dharchula, Munsiyari, Neeti Mana, Harsil, Guthu, Ghansali and Jaunsar of Uttarakhand in the form of snacks. The challenge before us was that we should be able to give a new flavor to attract today’s new generation, but its old taste should also remain intact in it. He said that people are understanding what PM Modi had said regarding the increase in millets etc. Gradually people will understand the importance of their hill products. He said that he has fed the Crispy Dhindka and Bhang chutney made by Manduay and Gahat to more than 500 people, which everyone likes.
